State returns $1.49 million in unclaimed property in December
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) - State Treasurer Larry Pack announced that the Unclaimed Property Division returned nearly $1.5 million to rightful owners during December, part of a continuing effort to reunite residents and organizations with lost financial assets. The division paid $1,492,579 across 1,444 claims representing 4,445 individual properties in December.
